Denying on Tuesday that Parliament is trying to oust Central Bank Governor Ali Al-Alaq, the Parliamentary Finance Committee refuted
Atwan Al-Atwani, the committee’s head, said the Parliamentary Finance Committee will not dismiss the Central Bank of Iraq Governor.
Al-Atwani pushed the media to depend on the official news the committee’s presidency released. He underlined the complete committee support for the Central Bank of Iraq’s actions to stabilize the market and manage the currency rate. Furthermore, he underlined their continuous contact and collaboration to handle any challenges and causes impeding how the market would be stabilized.
