The US Energy Information Administration announced on Thursday that Iraq exported 65.737 million barrels of oil to the United States in the first half of this year.
From January to June 2023, Iraq’s export of crude oil and its products to America increased by 33.5% compared to the same period in 2022, reaching 64.737 million barrels. In 2022, oil exports to America amounted to 48.459 million barrels, which was a 13.9% increase from the same period in 2021, during which oil exports to America amounted to 27.046 million barrels.
During the first half of 2023, the highest amount of oil exported to America was 12.168 million barrels in February. However, the lowest amount of oil exported was 9.330 million barrels in June.
