Today, a member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee in Baghdad named Hamid Al-Shablawi revealed details about three important laws that will be legislated in the near future.
During an interview, Al-Shiblawi stated that the Financial Control Law and its amendments are currently being developed for maturity. He also noted the Corruption Recovery Law, which is well-known among Iraqis, and questioned the source of the interviewer’s information.
“The committee is diligently working to complete the Integrity Commission law. This will support oversight and executive institutions. They are also preparing anti-corruption legislation.”
Al-Shibli noted that joint coordination with regulatory authorities is in place to finish projects and vote on them in the House of Representatives.
