A delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) currently present in Baghdad met with Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Al-Halbousi’s office stated that the two parties discussed political advancements, the significance of implementing crucial legislation as outlined in the political agreement paper, and the government program, which includes the oil and gas law.
This week, the leading Kurdish party is visiting Baghdad for official talks with the Shiite Coordination Framework and Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani. The discussions will focus on the Kurdish entitlements stipulated in the Iraqi constitution.
