Basim Khudair, the Agent Oil Pastor for Extraction Issues, revealed on Wednesday that Iraq will start trading gas by 2030 after having plenty natural gas to handle its problems.
Through the Service of Oil, Khudair let the state know that the public authority has completed a notable shift in the gas area as various activities meant to employ erupted gas are under process.
According to the Iraqi official in May, the state-owned Midland Oil business contracted a partnership of Petro Iraq and Jereh Group, a Chinese oil field services business and maker of oilfield equipment, to develop the Mansouriya gas field.
The agreement is necessary for the activities of the Oil Service using Iraq’s gas resources under an agreement approved to support the Akkas gas production, a flammable gas field in western Iraq.
Chief general of the Midland Oil Organization Mohammed Yassin Al-Obaidi confirmed that the Mansouriya gas field developed in the northeastern governorate of Diyala will reach 100 million cubic feet in 18 months or less.
Al-Obaidi reasoned that the most elevated creation would be three hundred million cubic feet inside four to five years.
