Ali Abdul Sattar Al-Marshoud, a member of the Oil and Gas Committee, has stated that the committee has not yet received the oil and gas law. He mentioned that talks are ongoing between the Ministry of Oil, the Prime Minister’s committee, the regional government, and political factions to resolve outstanding issues.
Al-Marshoud has made it clear that the approval of the oil and gas law is dependent on resolving the points of controversy through productive meetings. He emphasized that the law will be approved during the current session once all contentious issues have been resolved.
