The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, held today, Monday, with the Jordanian Prime Minister, Bishr Al-Khasawneh, who arrived this afternoon in the capital, Baghdad, a bilateral meeting that precedes extensive meetings that the two sides will hold.
Al-Sudani’s office issued a statement to Shafaq News agency stating that the Iraqi Prime Minister held an official reception ceremony for a guest. During the ceremony, both national anthems were played and the guard of honor was reviewed.
Immediately after the end of the reception ceremony, His Excellency held a bilateral meeting with Mr. Al-Khasawneh, after which the official talks between the two sides will begin, within the expanded meetings of the joint Iraqi-Jordanian committee, which will deal with a number of economic files, cooperation and issues of common interest between the two brotherly countries, according to the statement.
