Al-Sudani, the state leader Mohammed Shia’s Al-Sudani presented a few power projects in Nineveh and Salahuddin aimed towards lowering congestion in the fields of transmission and distribution.
among the initiatives are:
The Yarmja South station (KVA 132); transmission lines from Yarmja to Qayara station (3x 63 MVA); and building of transmission lines from Baiji to South Tikrit in addition to the expansion of the Baiji conversion station to two 250 MVA units. The Mosul Dam station with two transformers (2x 250 MVA)
Al-Sudani praised in his speech the efforts of the Service of Power personnel for completing these delayed projects, which had suffered damage during the ISIS conflict. He underlined the need of these projects in resolving transmission and dispersion problems, which are essentially as fundamental as increasing power generation, and highlighted the use of modern worldwide breakthroughs, especially at the Mosul station.
Al-Sudani reiterated the public authority’s obligation to redesign Iraq’s energy framework, empowering better energy moves, decreasing burdens, and settling power supply, which would so promote development across diverse places.
