Leading the Parliamentary Rights Bloc, MP Saud Al-Saadi asked Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani, and President Abdul Latif Rashid explanations on Sunday about the legal actions implemented in response to Resolution No. (18) of the Iraqi Parliament. The resolution calls for foreign soldiers to leave Iraqi territory.

According to the statement, Al-Saadi gave the House of Representatives resolution to the Minister of Justice, the Republic’s Presidents, and Ministers, among others.
The Iraqi Parliament agreed on a resolution on January 5, 2020, that Baghdad should evacuate foreign soldiers from the nation.
