Will Washington succeed in putting pressure on the Sudanese government

On Wednesday, Independent MP Kazem Al-Touki confirmed that the American government is putting pressure on Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani’s administration. Their aim is to implement their plans or exploit important files that could inflame the public against the government.

According to Al-Touki, America intends to incite the Iraqi people to oppose their government by implementing certain actions that would hinder the government’s efforts. This would be done by creating obstacles in the electricity sector and preventing the delivery of gas fuel to stations, under the guise of sanctions. Al-Maalouma was informed of this by Al-Touki.

He stated that any government that does not comply with American standards and acts against the will of Washington would face pressure from America to implement their desires.

Al-Touki highlighted the potential for Iraq to be left out of American decision-making in order to guarantee that the citizens receive their desired outcomes, particularly regarding electricity. He also observed that Washington persists in pressuring Iraq to meet its objectives.

He suggested that America can assist in procuring the required gas for power plants without meddling in the matter. However, they persist in pressuring governments that do not comply with their wishes.
