On Thursday, the exchange rate between the U.S. dollar (USD) and the Iraqi dinar (IQD) closed slightly higher in both the Baghdad and Erbil markets.
According to a correspondent from Shafaq News Agency, the USD had a closing rate of 153,700 IQD to 100 in both the al-Kifah and al-Harithiya Central Exchanges. This is 500 IQD higher than the opening rate earlier today.
In Baghdad’s parallel markets, the selling rate for the USD is 155,000 IQD per 100 and the buying rate is 153,000 IQD per 100.
The USD selling and buying rates in the capital city of the Kurdistan region are 153,850 and 153,750 IQD to 100, respectively.
