On Tuesday, there was a drop in the exchange rates of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar in Baghdad and Erbil.
As per a correspondent from Shafaq News Agency, the central stock exchanges of al-Kifah and al-Harthiya in Baghdad have reported a lower exchange rate of 152,850 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars. This is a significant drop from the morning rates which were recorded as 152,950 dinars per 100 dollars.
In Baghdad, the local currency exchange offices have seen a decrease in the value of the US dollar. The current rate for exchanging US dollars is 152,000 dinars for every 100 US dollars when buying and 154,000 dinars when selling.
In the capital of Kurdistan region, Erbil, the stock exchange also experienced a decline. The selling price for 100 US dollars was 152,900 dinars, while the buying price was 152,800 dinars.
