On Saturday, the exchange rates of the US dollar increased against the Iraqi dinar in both the Baghdad and Erbil markets.
According to a report from the Shafaq News agency, the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad recorded a morning exchange rate of 152,250 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars. This reflects an increase from the previous rate of 152,000 dinars for every 100 dollars recorded last Thursday.
In Baghdad’s local exchange shops, there has been a rise in the dollar prices. The selling price has increased to 153,250 dinars, while the purchase price has stabilized at 151,250 dinars for every 100 dollars.
The stock market in Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region, followed a similar trend. The selling price went up to 152,500 dinars while the purchase price reached 152,400 dinars for every 100 dollars.
