On Monday, the US dollar rose against the Iraqi dinar at the opening of the markets of Baghdad and Erbil.
A correspondent said that the opening rate for the Baghdad central exchanges of Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya became 149,900 IQD per $100.
The selling cost was 160,000 IQD per $100 in nearby trade shops; the price tag remained at 149,000 IQD.
For every US$100 sold in Erbil, the dollar sold for 150,050 dinars, and for every US$100 bought, it bought 149,900 dinars.
