This statement was received after Rashid’s reception at Baghdad Palace with the Saudi ambassador to Iraq, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari.
The message from the King of Saudi Arabia expressed the Kingdom’s intention to enhance the relationship between the two nations in a manner that benefits the shared interests of both peoples. It also underscored the significance of aligning positions in dealing with the challenges that the region is facing.
During the meeting, the President of Iraq emphasized the need to strengthen relations between Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and expand the scope of constructive cooperation for the benefit of both countries.
