The Jordanian Prime Minister, Bishr Hani al-Khasawneh, arrived in Baghdad on Monday evening, at the head of a Jordanian government delegation on an official visit to Iraq.
An official welcome ceremony was held for the Prime Minister by the Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani.
Discussions will also be held with the Jordanian Prime Minister, as part of the extended meetings of the Joint Iraqi Committee.
The source of the government report, Shafaq News Agency, earlier today, was that al-Khasawneh will discuss with the Sudanese the possibility of completing the Basra-Aqaba pipeline project, in addition to a number of economic and security issues related to border control and drug control.
