MP Mohammed Anouz, a member of the committee, said on Thursday that other controversial bills such as the oil and gas law will not be passed by the political blocs.
He explained, ” Due to political differences over them, The Legal Committee has a number of controversial laws that cannot be passed.
“There are laws which cannot see the light due to deep differences during this session,” he said, most notably the oil and gas law, which has not been settled for four prior parliamentary sessions. He continued in this vein.
Emphasizing that the bill will be postponed until the next session in expectation of agreement, he underlined.
