Moeen Al-Kadhimi of the Parliamentary Finance Committee announced that it struggles to coordinate the salaries of the 250,000 retirees in the Kurdistan Region on Wednesday.

Al-Kadhimi explained in a statement to : “The Money Panel has not yet reached an agreement in the document to shed light on the Public Retirement Authority.”

The amounts of deductions should be appended to the authority in order to fund retirement benefits, he added.

On the budget bill, al-Kadhimi confirmed that “the Finance Committee studied and discussed the tables received by the government as it is and submitted it for voting without making any change to the contents of the tables.”
“The Finance Committee has nothing to do with the discrepancy of the sum, as it was 211 trillion however what received the government was 226 trillion, he said.
