The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that the government is actively working towards a final solution for the dollar crisis.
According to Moin Al-Kazemi, a member of the committee, the government is taking action to put an end to the dollar crisis and the increase in the parallel market exchange rate, which currently differs significantly from the official rate. Progress is being made in this effort.
According to Al-Kadhimi, the issue of the increasing dollar exchange rate in the parallel market will be resolved in due time. The monetary authority in Iraq is currently addressing the matter and significant progress is expected in the near future.
