On Saturday, House of Representatives member, Hussein Al-Sabari, stated that Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani’s speech at the United Nations annual meetings did not meet the required standard in addressing current issues. Al-Sabari also noted that Al-Sudani utilized diplomacy and courtesy when discussing the escalating problems within Iraq.
During an interview with the Maalouma Agency, Al-Sabari stated that Al-Sudani failed to provide specific details that were meant to be discussed during the United Nations meetings. Al-Sabari emphasized the significance of highlighting the struggles of the Iraqi people before the international community.
He explained that one of the reasons for not mentioning the other outstanding problems was the significant increase in crises in multiple areas. He also expressed disappointment in Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani’s speech, which he felt did not adequately address all of the outstanding issues.
According to Al-Sabari, Al-Sudani used diplomacy and courtesy to discuss the issues and problems in Iraq during his speech at the United Nations meetings.
