Sunday morning, the US dollar exchange rates dropped in the marketplaces of Baghdad and Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
While yesterday, Saturday, it recorded 149,400 dinars for every 100 dollars, Shafaq News Agency correspondent claimed that the dollar prices dropped with the opening of Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges to record 149,250 Iraqi dinars for each 100 dollars.
Our correspondent noted that whilst the purchasing price for every 100 dollars reached 148,250 dinars, the selling prices in the exchange shops in the local markets in Baghdad dropped as the selling price hit 150,250 dinars.
The dollar somewhat dropped in Erbil’s exchange stores, where the purchase price was 149,250 dinars against 100 dollars and the selling price was 149,350 dinars against the dollar.
