To keep the market stable on the Russian fuel market the government has decided to extend the ban on gasoline exports until the end of 2024.
“The decision was made to extend the ban on gasoline exports from the country to maintain the fuel market stability during the season and planned reforms in the country’s refineries,” the government said.
At the beginning of Spring the government imposed a 6 month ban on gas trades except for the Eurasian Union countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan) and at the end of May the ban was lifted for a short period with goods to be banned again in August.
