Ahmed Shaheed Al-Shammari, a member of the Popular Legal Movement, announced today, Thursday, that on the grounds of her obvious meddling in internal matters of Iraq, the movement plans to sue the US Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski.
The ambassador continues her offensive remarks and obvious meddling in Iraqi politics and the work of the Council of Representatives, Al-Shammari informed Al-Maalouma Agency.
“The statements of the US Ambassador to Baghdad, Alina Romanowicz, are raising controversy in Iraqi political and popular circles, the latest of which is her interference in amending the Personal Status Law,” he said.
He urged the political powers not to let this ambassador meddle with events in Iraq.
