Latest developments in the budget.. Al-Sudani enters the line of “manipulation” and accuses 3 representatives

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani told the House of Representatives to look into how budget numbers are being used wrongly.

“Free Talk” on the Al-Furat satellite station this evening had this to say: “Three representatives are accused of tampering with the budget tables after the vote and signing them by the presidency of the House of Representatives.” Al-Sayhoud is the Secretary-General of the Generations Gathering.

He also said, “The government brought up the issue of changing the budget tables.” About 3.5 trillion dinars are different, and Al-Sudani told the House of Representatives to make a group to look into the changing.

To quote Al-Sayhoud, “We are waiting for the report from the investigation committee.” The law will not trust them if it turns out that they messed with the tables.

The parliamentary finance committee showed two different budget numbers that were 15 trillion dinars off before and after it was passed.

Moeen Al-Kazemi, who is on the committee, told Al-Furat News that the government tables and the budget tables sent by the Council of Ministers and passed by the parliament are the same. In other words, the letter we got from the Council of Ministers says that there are big differences and mistakes in some parts of the tables that were sent back after the vote that add up to 15TBD.

He said that the budget for spending is 211 trillion dinars. But the lists that were sent to the cabinet and signed by the head of the house show that the amount is 226 trillion dinars.

He said that the table signed by the speaker of the house came from the office of the prime minister. The following things were on it:

The food card will now have 5 trillion dinars more on it.

– An extra 5 trillion dinars from oil sales.

The fees are going to drop by 5 trillion dinars.

– And more money for some governorates and the Ministry of Electricity.
