[via PDK] In the early 2010s, I came across some impressive math from a reliable source in Iraq. Back then, they forecasted a rate between $12.70 and $14.70 for the dinar based on that day’s math. However, a lot has changed since then, including values and inflation. While I am preparing myself for a lower rate, I am hopeful for a higher one. Furthermore, since Vietnam and Iraq are trading partners, I believe that if Iraq’s rate is high, then the Vietnam rate will also be high.

I don’t believe that the Vietnamese dong (VND) will have a similar value to the Iraqi dinar. The Middle East has abundant resources, giving them significant influence in the global market. However, if the value of the Vietnamese currency were to increase, I would expect the exchange rate to reach anywhere between $0.05 to $0.10. While this may not seem like a substantial increase, it would be a significant gain for anyone holding the currency. Vietnam is gradually progressing, and although they are gaining some independence, I don’t think they will ever fully break away from their ties to China.

Next week, the House Foreign Affairs Committee will be having a hearing regarding the repeal of the law that allowed the 2003 Iraq invasion. The hearing is scheduled for 10 am on Thursday and is expected to discuss the repeal of the 2002 authorization of the use of military force (AUMF) against Iraq and the replacement of the 2001 AUMF, according to a reliable source.

[via WiserNow] Based on what we have been informed, we will commence the task either on Saturday or before that day. Additionally, we have learned that the Iraqi dinar exchange rate will be published on the digital version of the gazette on Saturday. This version will be accessible to people worldwide. It seems like it will be an eventful weekend ahead. [Second post out of two]

[via WiserNow] During our conversation, we discussed the possibility of the Iraqi dinar rate being published in Wednesday’s gazette. After checking our sources, we confirmed that it was published in the printed version of the Gazette, indicating that the RV had taken place on Wednesday in Iraq and throughout the Middle East. Those who were able to read the Arabic version of the Gazette have already started with the process. As for us, stay tuned for further updates. [post 1 of 2]

[Iraqi Banking friend Aki update] The ATMs are now equipped to handle the recently introduced currency. The Central Bank of Iran has been in discussions with private banks regarding the timeline for activating them. However, no specific date was announced during the meeting. Nonetheless, the banks will receive notification when they are ready to activate the new ATMs.

[via PDK] There’s an article causing panic today about Parliament setting a three-month deadline to restore the dollar’s exchange rate to the official rate. However, there’s no need to panic. Similar articles were published in Kuwait before they RV’d, with one claiming they wouldn’t RV for at least six months. Yet they did it on the same day. It seems like they’re intentionally obscuring the facts.

Guru Bruce said that the Iraq Petroleum Law or Hydrocarbon Law has been passed and they are starting to distribute money to the Iraqi people. Complete bullshit! The National Assembly has not yet passed the HCL law.

There is some potentially positive news for Iraq that could impact the value of the Iraqi dinar. An article reports that the US House of Representatives will be holding a session next week to cancel the authorization for the invasion of Iraq. While there are both pros and cons to this, a possible positive outcome is that it would grant Iraq full sovereignty, meaning they would no longer have training wheels or be handled with kit gloves. However, it is important to note that this change could have both positive and negative impacts on the currency.

Sudani’s purpose for attending the United Nations was not limited to a single speech. He aimed to extend an invitation to the entire world to visit Iraq. In addition, he conducted several supplementary meetings with various groups including businesses, companies, countries, and presidents. His primary objective was to promote his two reforms.
