I am thrilled and energized by some exciting news I received via a phone call. The CBI has started to implement their plans, with teams already activated and working since Wednesday. This marks the beginning of progress, including education and personnel placement. According to my predictions, approvals will be made on Sunday, followed by parliamentary action on Monday, leading to a potentially thrilling week ahead. I am confident that a rate change will occur by the end of September and would be surprised if it did not.

[via PDK] Well…this surprises me, but I know from 3 different sources that they are (hopefully) keeping a skeleton team at the call centers/return centers and figuring out how to process appointments dating…I think that’s good. News. I think it’s reassuring to know that the banking industry is taking this seriously and has a small team in place – just in case they pull the trigger.

It seems that having Iraq, Iran, the head of the CBI, and the US Treasury all in one coin is meaningless unless you prioritize changing the exchange rate and boosting the value of Iraq’s currency. This could only happen if there is security and stability in Iraq, which seems to be the case. It appears that Iran has finally accepted defeat by admitting, “we give up.”
