I don’t believe a floating exchange rate can work in a digital world. They’ll need to adjust their Reel Effective Exchange Rate (REER), and I hope it will be better than in the past. When I first started, the IMF had shut them down at $3.22. When they reinstate, they’ll probably start there and may add some for inflation. They’ll likely do a “managed float.”
