The Jordanian Prime Minister, Bishr Al-Khasawneh, arrives in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, later today, Monday.
A government source told Shafaq News agency, “The Jordanian Prime Minister, Bisher Al-Khasawneh, will meet with the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, during the visit, to discuss the possibility of completing the implementation of the Basra-Aqaba pipeline project, in addition to a number of economic and security files related to border control and drug control.”
And the source indicated that “the Jordanian Prime Minister will meet during his visit to the capital, Baghdad, with the Iraqi President, the Iraqi Parliament Speaker, and some political leaders, to discuss the same files, which he will discuss with his Iraqi counterpart.”
