Eni, the Italian oil company, has recently released data showing that in 2022, the per capita oil consumption in Iraq was 6.80 barrels per year.
The per capita consumption of barrels has increased since the previous year. In 2021, it stood at 5.93 barrels annually, and in 2020, it was 5.31 barrels.
According to Eni, Qatar has the highest per capita oil consumption among Arab nations in Asia for 2022, with a consumption of 47.54 barrels.
In terms of per capita consumption, the United Arab Emirates consumed 42.60 barrels following Qatar, while Saudi Arabia’s per capita consumption stood at 37.26 barrels.
uwait came in next with a per capita consumption of 36.60 barrels.
Yemen had the lowest per capita consumption with 0.71 barrels, followed by Syria with 2.11 barrels, and Jordan with 3.40 barrels.
