Officials from the Coordination Framework, a group mainly composed of Iran-backed Shiite political forces, will meet on Monday to discuss the recent government ban on the widely used messaging app, Telegram.
According to an insider at the Shafaq News Agency, an important meeting is scheduled to take place at the residence of Hadi al-Amiri, who is the leader of the Fatah Alliance, in the upcoming hours.
According to the source, the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammad Shia al-Sudani, will also be present in the meeting.
The source mentioned that the meeting’s agenda would include a discussion about the Telegram ban and the dossier for the provincial council elections.
