An investment forum is set to take place in Baghdad at year-end.
The Chairman of the National Investment Authority, Haider Muhammad Makiya, announced this during a meeting with the Authority’s advanced staff.
According to a statement released by the Authority, its president stated that preparations are underway for the International Investment Forum in Baghdad. The event is scheduled for December and will be held under the auspices of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani. Various official international and local officials are expected to attend. The Authority is currently getting everything ready, including logistics and technical supplies.
He explained that the forum will play a significant role in economic integration, sustainable development, and strengthening relations between Iraq, regional countries, and the world.
