On Tuesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stated that Iraq would maintain its position as a stabilizing force in the world and the region.
In a statement, Al-Sudani expressed his congratulations to the people of Iraq on their National Day. He extended his heartfelt wishes to all citizens and national forces, along with all constitutional bodies. He prayed for the Almighty God to always protect and uplift their beloved country.
He stated that Iraq has always been a land that shone with the richness of civilization for the whole world. It was the place where history was made and humanity took steps towards progress. Thus, the establishment of the modern Iraqi state and its membership in the League of Nations was a continuation of its influential and dynamic cultural and civilizational heritage.
The Prime Minister declared that Iraq will continue to be a symbol of stability, security, and prosperity on its National Day. He emphasized that Iraq serves as a bridge between different civilizations and cultures. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that Iraqis will remain committed to promoting peace and fighting against ignorance. He reaffirmed his government’s dedication to achieving the goal of making Iraq a better place for its citizens and to prioritize this goal over everything else.
