The Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, chaired the periodic meeting of the Service and Engineering Effort Team today, Sunday, to assess the projects initiated by the Team for the year 2024.
A statement by the Prime Minister’s Media Office clarified, “Al-Sudani heard a detailed explanation on the full state of all projects carried out in all governorates, concerning the tarring and equipping of streets and roads, as well as the rehabilitation and maintenance of schools and health centers in areas and neighborhoods that are in dire need of municipal services, which contributes to the development of service reality in them.”.
He stressed that “the Service and Engineering Effort Team shall continue at the same enthusiasm, while the pace of work shall be raised in the deprived areas which need urgent services.” He pointed out that the basic tasks of the effort consist of providing fundamental and urgent services that the citizen requires and which cannot be postponed, besides completing the stalled municipal service projects that were stopped years ago; His Excellency directed to expedite the purchase of mechanisms for the effort team.
