According to a statement made by Al-Mutlaq to Al-Maalouma, the Al-Halbousi party’s influence during this election cycle and before it, has led to the formation of new parties, groups, and alliances in Anbar Governorate.

He mentioned that no party or alliance will achieve a majority in the provincial council from the upcoming elections in Anbar province.

According to Al-Mutlaq, Al-Halbousi’s political party is facing a challenging time because of the high number of competitors and their varying interests. Nonetheless, the party is still moving forward and making progress.

Dhari al-Dulaimi, the leader of the Anbar coalition, informed Al-Maalouma that Muhammad al-Halbousi, the Parliament Speaker, is attempting to infiltrate his political opponents from the Resolve and Decisive coalitions. This is being done in an effort to prevent the collection of signatures for his removal from office.
