MP Mohammed Al-Baldowicz said on Thursday that the government is serious about recovering every cent from what has been termed as the theft of the century.
Al-Baldawan told an interview, “Nour Zuhair or whomever will be taken to court and it shall be left for the courts to decide on all the cases.”
There is no leniency to anyone despite however much the country is involved in corruption.
He continued, “The public authority has a challenge to undertake its programme, which incorporates fighting debasement as a significant point of support in building state organisations. The public authority does not mess around with recuperating all the cash taken from the 100 years.”
“The Iraqi judges are fair and just, and that the investigations are tracking down and recovering funds and exposing everyone involved in corruption cases whether in the theft of the century or otherwise.” He, reportedly, asserted that the Iraqi court is fair and the judges are reasonable.
