Head of the state Mohammed Shia’s Al-Sudani started certain power projects in Nineveh and Salahuddin aimed toward lessening congestion in the transmission and circulation zones.
The assignments consist in:
The Yarmja South station (KVA 132); transmission lines from Yarmja to Qayara station (3x 63 MVA); and building of transmission lines from Baiji to South Tikrit in addition to the expansion of the Baiji conversion station to two 250 MVA units. The Mosul Dam station with two transformers (2x 250 MVA)
Al-Sudani praised in his speech the efforts of the Service of Power personnel for completing these postponed projects, which had suffered damage during the ISIS conflict. He noted the need of these initiatives in resolving transmission and circulation problems, which are all around as fundamental as increasing power generation. He also highlighted the use of modern worldwide improvements, specifically at the Mosul station.
Al-Sudani reiterated the public authority’s need to update Iraq’s energy framework, so empowering better energy moves, lessening loads, and settling power supply, so supporting improvement across many spheres.
