With the markets shutting on Sunday evening, the US dollar exchange rates slightly dropped in Baghdad and Erbil.
After it was 149,200 dinars for every 100 dollars this morning, the dollar values dropped at the closure of Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock markets in Baghdad, reported Shafaq News Agency correspondent.
The correspondent noted that since the buying price recorded 148,000 dinars for 100 dollars while the selling price hit 150,000 Iraqi dinars, the selling prices in the exchange shops in the local marketplaces in Baghdad likewise dropped.
The dollar also fell in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, where the buying price came at 148,950 dinars for every 100 US dollars and the selling price came at 149,050 dinars.
