Iraq ranks 19th in the world in terms of the lowest gasoline price, according Thursday’s Shafaq News/Global Petrol Prices article, which specializes in fuel and power rates.
With a price of 0.580 euros per liter, which is equivalent to 0.649 dollars per liter and 850 Iraqi dinars, Iraq ranked 19th in the world with the cheapest gasoline among 170 countries mentioned in the newest table of the site, Shafaq News Agency examined.
The data on the website shows one gallon of gasoline equal 2.199 euros, or 2. 457 dollars and 3,217,299 Iraqi dinars.
Liquid measurements are in gallons; one US gallon is equal to 3.78 liters.
From its refineries, Iraq sells conventional gasoline at filling stations; it imports upgraded (high-octane) gasoline from overseas to meet local demand.
