Al-Hayani, a member of the Al-Fatah Alliance, said on Wednesday that focusing on individuals guilty for the largest theft of the century is equally crucial as preventing the danger presented by foreign banks in Iraq.
Al-Hayani said in a statement to “scutinizing the work of these banks is no less important than pursuing those accused of the theft of the century, since banking work generates sums exceeding a century in millions of dollars” and “the American pressures on the Iraqi government resulted in the entrance of foreign banks that would support the economy of foreign countries.”
He then said, “the political forces must support the current government in order to save the Iraqi banking sector.” He said that “America rules.”
