Member of the Fatah Coalition Khaled Al-Saray acknowledged today, Thursday, that the problem of removing American presence from Iraq is related to the strength of the Iraqi negotiator and that the presence of any foreign soldiers in Iraq is considered as an occupation.

Al-Saray said in a statement to, “America is often evasive in this file in order to protect its interests in the Middle East. The Iraqi negotiator represented by the joint committees is working on the file of ending the American presence, but it lacks political experience and maneuvering.”

“Iraq does not need any foreign security forces to protect it, as Iraq today is different from 2014. The Iraqi army and other security forces are in control of the country, in addition to forming the largest military force after 2014 represented by the Popular Mobilization Forces.” he said.

It is noteworthy that the delegation headed to Washington for the negotiations lacked politicians and manipulative diplomats.
