The State of Law Coalition called Thursday for the withdrawal of foreign forces from Iraq, with emphasis on American troops.
“There is no reason for the presence of American forces in Iraq,” coalition leader Haider Al-Lami said. “There is a possibility for their expulsion in case of a real intention.”.
“The executive authority must make serious decisions to withdraw these forces in response to the American violations committed in Iraq against the security forces and the Popular Mobilisation Forces,” he said.
“He added, ‘America is trying to control Iraq militarily, but it is also controlling the Iraqi economy and oil revenues through the Federal Bank.'”
