The Commission of Integrity released a statement stating that Judge Haider Hanoun, along with the vice president and general directors of the commission, met with Egyptian Minister of Justice Counselor Omar Marwan at the commission’s headquarters. During the meeting, Judge Hanoun emphasized the significance of the memorandums of understanding the commission has signed with counterpart agencies in Arab countries and others, especially with the Arab Republic of Egypt. He stressed the importance of communication and cooperation between the Illicit Gains Agency affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Justice and the Prevention Department of the Federal Integrity Commission. The exchange of experiences between the two agencies can be helpful in preventing corruption, pursuing the inflation of funds, and curbing illicit gains.

The minister highlighted that training and practice are essential for the development of employees’ abilities and skills.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed common issues related to preventing and combating corruption. They also agreed to maintain communication between regulatory agencies in both countries.
